Speaking of rolls...

Mr. Pie and I had a wonderful date night last night (it's so good to have him back!). We decided to try out Tokyo Table. Reservations were full but they accept walk-ins so we got gussied up and headed over.
We sat at the bar while waiting for our table and ordered drinks, the calamari appetizer and did some people watching.
Soju with plum wine for Mr. Pie and a lychee soju soda for me. Refreshing!
Calamari appetizer - very tasty and affordable for only $5!
Turns out we didn't have to wait too long and the hostess seated us a table for 6 - it was a very cozy booth - plus we faced almost the whole restaurant and did some more people watching :)
We ordered up sake and it came in this cute little wooden box with ice.
For dinner, we had the following:
Miso Soup ($1.95)
Lobster Dynamite Appetizer ($9.95)
Rainbow roll ($13.95)
Garlic tuna ($12.95) - you sear it at the table on a hot stone!
Dinner was amazing. They have so many items there that we would have loved to try and as you can, very affordable. We'll be back many more times! The service, ambiance and food all scored A+s.
