Happy Birthday Madison!

Happy Birthday to Madison! Our baby turns 1 today :) This morning she announced it by snoring very loudly at 6 am and Mr. Pie had to nudge her to stop. Too cute, too cute.

I need more cowbell

What a fun weekend we had. On Friday night I cooked a great dinner for me and the hubs. We had bacon wrapped scallops with cream sauce and basmati rice. Yum! Then on Saturday we headed to visit our friends, the Chips - not their real names but I thought it was cute since their adorable labradoodle is named Chip. Chip is the sweetest dog and is the most behaved I have ever seen! He could teach mine a thing or two :) So we hung out and spent the night at the Chips since they live about an hour away. It was great to catch up - we had not seen them since the wedding! There was great food and lots of laughter. On the way back Mr. Pie and I headed to the outlets and bought some new clothes. We were very happy though to head back to our little ones who had spent the night at Grandma's.

I love celebrity gossip!

I love celebrity gossip. I love celebrity blogs, US Weekly Mag, People, all of the sites, I just love it so! For my recent 29th birthday (yes, it's my blog, I will say and do as I please), my co-workers decorated my desk with pictures and pictures of celebs. It was awesome! I still have some left up. My daily ritual is filled with going on sites like Trent Blogspot and Dlisted - they have the best pics of celebs not in their best form. I hope that this isn't affected by the recent write strike, which is messing with my daily tv fix. I still don't know what I'm going to do when all of the shows stop airing. I will have my beloved Survivor and other reality shows but I will definitely miss my Grey's, Housewives and Friday Night Lights. RIP TV Shows. Ugh.

Here's a pic of Suri on my window.

Jimmissa!

J&M

Saturday was one of the greater days of my life - two of my closest friends married each other. J and M are the most caring people you will ever meet. M looked absolutely stunning and J was the happiest guy on earth! I loved that I got to witness their joyful union. It was a great party with lots of champagne and wonderful friends. Congratulations Jimmissa!!

Welcome to my blog!

Hi there! Welcome to my blog :) I came up with the title when my hubs and I were driving home from dinner tonight. We were talking about restaurants and their sustainability. The hubs wanted to know how the Coco's and Denny's of the world were still around and I said it must be the senior citizen crowd. He said that's where we will be when we're old and said in a little old lady's voice (pretending to me talking to our kids when we're old) "Your father likes the coconut cream pie." Yeah you had to be there.
