I'm going to need 2 more cups

Saturday night was super fun with Fish, Little B and Slim. We hit up Boiling Crab in Little Saigon and it was heavenly! On the table:

4 lbs of delectable crawfish

1 order of bangin' cajun fries

1/2 dozen succulent raw oysters

And the rest that you didn't see? 1 sweeeeeeet lobster, 1/2 dozen sweeter oysters and a 1 lb of tasty shrimps (I know, there's no plural for shrimp but why??!). We didn't photograph those because they came after we got the first three and our hands dirty :) Also, I have no shame.

Last week a couple of co-workers came by for lunch. We had the intention of making masubi but things took a turn. However, we had lots of fun!

Making your own sushi rolls at home can be lots of fun, cost effective and delicious! I laid out the following and we just went to town! - cooked sushi rice (no rice vinegar - add some if you want the real deal) - cooked spam - cooked egg - seaweed wraps - saran wrap or a real sushi roller to roll with

On Saturday, we headed out to the Chips to celebrate PoppaChip's 30th birthday. In one word - BabyChip is absolutely perfect! She is gorgeous and such a sweet baby to boot. We had so much fun with our friends. I love that the newest addition to the group is BabyChip :) And of course, no trip is completed without THE Chip himself! Sunday...well Sunday is pretty much covered in my post below. We headed out to brunch with Peldia - a champagne brunch. We had a lot. Ok, Pablo and I had a lot. And boy did we suffer! I think we are safe from champagne for a while. I'll put this on my list after sake.

I will keep posting randomly and way out of the actual timeline - it'll be just as confusing as tonight's Heroes' season premiere!
