Don't eat the bay leaf

Tonight Mr. Pie came back from his golf game and made cajun sausasge and shrimp jambalaya for me and Slim. It was magnificent! Who knew my Michigan boy could create a cajun dish?

The prep and cooking:

All the goodies simmering in a pan... And then finally on my plate! Afterwards we broke out the Yahtzee (can you believe I've never played before?)

Peanut helped.

Slim won with a big straight at the end!
