Last week a couple of co-workers came by for lunch. We had the intention of making masubi but things took a turn. However, we had lots of fun!
Making your own sushi rolls at home can be lots of fun, cost effective and delicious! I laid out the following and we just went to town!
- cooked sushi rice (no rice vinegar - add some if you want the real deal)
- cooked spam
- cooked egg
- seaweed wraps
- saran wrap or a real sushi roller to roll with
Here are the different rolls we each made:
Little B's

Fish's

Mine

and the winner is...
Mr. Pie "aka" Sous chef's roll
